Camp Trask is a special place, tucked into Monrovia Canyon, only minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city. A brief drive up a meandering road camp and you are suddenly into a calming wilderness setting. The silence in camp is broken only by the sound of the year-round stream which flows through camp. There are no city lights, so you can see the stars at night. There are lots of reasons to come to Trask: The new dining hall, great swimming pool, medieval style Fort, and outdoor amphitheater for campfire and awards.
Pool and swim lake
Nothing ends the day of hard fighting like relaxing in the olympic size pool or taking a dive in the lake. No alcohol in or near the pool
Fort Rotary
We will be fighting in an real medieval style fort on Saturday. Bring your siege engines and storm the fort.
Pub and Game room
Keeping with the Socal tradition introduced at BFTR, we will have a game room with many medieval nerd friendly games (magic the gathering ect.) bring your decks and enjoy the activities. the rec room will also be converted into a medieval pub stocked with limited alcohol, BYOB please or donations
Restrooms/Showers
There are several restrooms and hot showers to accommodate 350 fighters. Bring your own towels and soap.

Location Rules
- All persons coming to camp must have with them a current medical form (Part A and B must be completed).
- There are NO fire rings in camp sites, open fires are not permitted.
- Charcoal Cooking: You may use the camp bbq’s provided you are able to transport out the used charcoal (subject to LA County and USFS Dept)
- All food should be stored in your vehicle. There are a limited number of picnic tables at each camp, please come prepared.
- Please comply with all requests made by event staff, heralds, and Troll
- No firearms or real weapons of any kind, this includes but not limited to live steel, bb guns, sling shots, any pocket knife deemed illegal in california(research yourself)
- Anyone convicted of child molestation, rape or any other sex crime that requires registration to "megans Law" are not allowed at this event/location unless permitted by the state of California
- no illegal drugs of any kind are permitted on site or in vehicles
- Alcohol is allowed on site but must be in a period drinking vessle, underage drinking is illegal and not allowed!
